USP grade zinc oxides are of highest quality, specially produced to comply with the requirements of the United States Pharmacopia (USP), the FDA, and the Board of Standards of the Toilet Goods Association. Made from high purity zinc, USP zinc oxide provides a combination of high chemical purity with a range of chemical reactivity, physical properties and optical properties. Ships in bags and boxes from 1 Lb up to 50 Lbs.
Titanium dioxide, also known as titanium(IV) oxide, rutile or titania is a white pigment, and photocatalyst. Used in rubber, plastic, paper, cosmetics, floor covering, ceramics, glassware, enamel frits, printing inks and welding rods.
Old Product Code: TO322
Chromium(III) oxide also known as Chromic Oxide is the inorganic compound of the formula Cr2O3. It is one of the principal oxides of chromium and is used as a green pigment. Because of its considerable stability, chromic oxide is a commonly used pigment and was originally called viridian. It is used in paints, inks, and glasses. Chromic Oxide is also an important ceramic glaze.
When used as glaze, Chrome produces a wide range of greens, from a transparent glossy lime green to the more iconic, opaque, satin kelly green. The strong green color can often be modified by very small amounts of other oxides, like cobalt oxide, copper oxide, iron oxide, manganese dioxide, rutile, tin oxide, etc. In addition to green, chrome oxide also produces gray, brown, red, pink, and orange colors. It is also used in black glazes and stains to give a strong, true black color.
Average particle size: 8 Micron
Manganese Dioxide 80%, black color, mesh 20 x 40 (consistency of fine sand). May be used as filter to remove iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide from water. Also used as a catalyst in decomposition of hydrogen peroxide and making oxygen gas.
Cobalt (II, III) Oxide or Cobalt Tetroxide is often used to bake blue glass, blue glaze and blue enamels. It is also used to make other cobalt compounds such as cobalt sulfate and cobalt chloride.
Other applications include enamels, semiconductors, grinding wheels. Used in catalysis, superconductors, ceramics and other fields as an important inorganic material. Also used as catalyst and catalyst carrier, as electrode active material, for glass, porcelain colorants and pigments, as chemical industry oxidant and as a catalyst for organic synthesis, in senior goggles and other filter materials, in temperature and gas sensors, in electronic ceramics, in lithium ion battery electrode materials, magnetic materials, electrochromic devices, enamels, solar energy absorbers.
