Barium Sulfate is the optimal extender for almost all applications in the production of paints and coatings and plastic. Furthermore, it is used as a chemical in lead acid batteries.

This product is a chemically precipitated, pure barium sulfate. It is resistant to water, acid, alkali and organic solvents as well as to light and to industrial waste gases (e.g. sulfur dioxide) .

Pure Barium Sulfate has good dispersion properties, a high gloss and low binder demand. It has also extremely low chloride content along with a greatly reduced electric conductivity.
