Micronized low density iron powder is by far the finest grade of iron powder that has ever been made. It consists of irregular and flake particles as small as 5 microns. This product is an electronic grade high purity iron dust; however, very fine particles tend to oxidize easier. In most cases about 2 to 3 percent of this product is oxidized on the surface during the grinding and packaging process.
Applications of this product may include chemical reactions, filler metals for plastic or epoxy compounds, mirror backing, high density P/M parts, carrier for photocopy toners, as a matrix metal for diamond bonding, and for various ferromagnetic applications. May also be used in finger printing powders, magnetic inks and magnetic paints.

Warning: Fine iron dust in air can form an explosive mixture. Avoid dust. Avoid inhalation. Use mask and protective clothing while handling.
