Its green tones can be modified with small additions of other oxides, like cobalt or copper oxide. High Contrast Glass Thermometer
This high contrast glass thermometer with yellow background, black markings, and red spirit is designed for effortless reading. As a dual unit device, it can read both in Celsius (ranging from -20 to 110 degrees) and Fahrenheit (from -4 to 230 degrees). It's a partial immersion thermometer marked with an immersion line to indicate the correct immersion level for accurate readings. Each thermometer is individually packaged in a protective plastic tubular container and comes with an adjustable elastic bumper. The thermometer measures 30 cm (12 inches) in length.

Yellow no. 5 FD&C lake, provides superior color purity and saturation, oil soluble, water insoluble (but good dispersibility & no aggregate formation), for best results wet in oil before use. Can be used as a yellow pigment in arts and cosmetic/ personal care products. For external use only.
Applications: decorative cosmetic products including lipsticks, nail lacquers & face makeup (in USA prohibited for eye makeup), soaps, bath salts.
Storage: stable when kept in closed container at a cool & dry place.
Description: Color group: yellow (dye content 28%). Organic, FDA-approved, high-purity pigment. Synonym: Tartrazine. Chemical class: Pyrazolone. Water solubility: 20g/100ml.
