Dammar Gum, Damar Gum, Damar resin
Dammar Gum, Damar Gum, Damar resin Natural Dammar gum resin crystals obtained from Shorea trees in Indonesia (Sumatra).
White to yellowish-white translucent, globular to pear-shaped grains, irregular fragments or stalactite masses. Grade AA consists of larger pieces of 2 to 5 centimeter. Grade A consists of 1/2 cm to 5 cm pieces as well as about 5% resin powder. Grade B particles are mainly smaller than 1 cm and include about 20% powdered resin.
Used in incense, varnish and other products. Commonly used in oil painting, both during the painting process and after the painting is finished. Dammar crystals are also dissolved in molten paraffin wax to make batik, to prevent the wax from cracking when it is drawn onto silk or rayon.
Damar crystals are dissolved into beeswax with pigment added to harden it in order to make encaustic paints.
Dammar resins were often used in the past to caulk ships, frequently together with pitch or bitumen.

Gum Arabic
Gum Arabic Gum Arabic is a natural gum originally consisting of the hardened sap of two species of the Acacia tree. Gum Arabic is a complex mixture of glycoproteins and polysaccharides, predominantly polymers of arabinose and galactose. It is soluble in water, edible, and used primarily in the food industry and soft-drink industry as a stabilizer, with E number E414 (I414 in the US). Gum arabic is a key ingredient in traditional lithography and is used in printing, paint production, glue, cosmetics, and various industrial applications, including viscosity control in inks and in textile industries. Gum Arabic is a rich source of dietary fibers and in addition to its widespread use in food and pharmaceutical industries as a safe thickener, emulsifier, and stabilizer, it also possesses a broad range of health benefits that have been evidently proved through several in vitro and in vivo studies.

Partially Hydrogenated Gum Rosin, FLORAREZ PR
Partially Hydrogenated Gum Rosin, FLORAREZ PR Partially hydrogenated gum Rosin has a lighter color and is more stable.

Hydrogenated rosin has more resistance to oxidation and has lighter color.
Like unmodified pine rosin, hydrogenated rosin have a wide span of compatibility with almost all polymers. They are well known for their peel and tack contribution to the adhesive. Specific benefits of hydrogenated rosin include:

Lighter color.
Significantly improved stability.
Less to no skin sensitization (depends on the degree of hydrogenation).
Less UV absorption, thus making them suitable for UV curable polymer based adhesives.
Imparts only a slight decrease of cohesive strength, especially in block co-polymer systems.
Can be used in amorphous polyolefin based adhesives.
