Sodium Silicate Powder, High Alkaline
High alkaline sodium silicate powder, SiO2/Na2O ratio 2, pH 11.5. Sodium Silicate (Water Glass) is a fine, white, high alkaline powder with a SiO2 to Na2O ratio of 2. It dissolves quickly and easily in water to form a hazy, colorless colloidal solution with a pH of 11.5 for a 1% solution. SSGD is widely used in specialized non-flammable coatings, refractory cements, adhesives, binders, agriculture, detergents, and construction materials. This product is sensitive to moisture and should be stored in tightly closed containers.
