Super Fine Iron Powder, Atomized, High Purity
High-purity atomized iron powder, mesh 325, versatile filler.Super Fine High-Purity Iron Powder, Fine Particle, Magnetic
IRON325AT is a high-purity, fine metallic iron powder containing 99+% iron. Its dense, free-flowing particles blend readily with resins, polymers, rubber, oils, alcohols, aqueous systems, waxes, and other binders, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial, research, and manufacturing applications. The powder has a fine particle-size distribution, with approximately 87% typically below 45 microns and a specification requiring at least 80% below 45 microns. Its apparent density is typically 2.8-3.2 g/cm³. IRON325AT can be incorporated into plastics, rubber, resins, coatings, inks, and pastes to add metallic weight, magnetic response, and metal-detector detectability. When mixed with suitable resins, waxes, or binders, its fine particles can produce smooth, highly loaded metallic mixtures. The product is also suitable for magnetic paints, magnetic inks, magnetic pastes, cosmetic formulations, magnetic rubber articles, and magnetic plastic components. IRON325AT conforms to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 A-H for applicable food-contact applications. It is offered for research and manufacturing use and is not intended for use as a food, feed, nutritional, or iron supplement. Store sealed in a dry location at room temperature and protect from excessive light and moisture. Recommended shelf life in sealed plastic pails is 6 years.
